With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delbert Satterfield of Honea Path, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Delbert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Delbert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Satterfield and Mary Elizabeth Poore Satterfield; and his siblings, Sammy Satterfield and Dorothy Jean Satterfield. He is survived by: his brothers, Dennis Satterfield (Kathy) of Anderson, James Satterfield (Linda) of Honea Path and Tony Satterfield (Elizabeth) of Honea Path; and his pets, Daisy and Sally. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pruitt Funeral Home (603 N Main St, Honea Path, SC 29654). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Barkers Creek Baptist Church (3207 SC-252, Honea Path, SC 29654).
