He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bell and Rosie Naomi Ashley Todd; his stepson Kevin Hamby; and his brothers, Jimmy Ray and Robert Todd.

He is survived by: his fiancée Rosemary Vaughn of Anderson; his brothers, Doug Todd of Honea Path, Charles of Honea Path and Red Todd of Honea Path; his half-brother Bill Bell of Honea Path; his stepdaughter Connie Hamby; his granddaughters, Summer McDonald (Thomas) and Brianna Brown; his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Bryleigh, Natalie, Tucker, Skylar, Bentley, Emma, Waverly and Issie; and his mother-in-law Linda King.
