She was predeceased by: her parents, James Furman and Myrtle Taylor Magaha; her sisters, Ruth Williams and Sybil Louise Magaha; and her stepdaughter Shelia Meyer.

She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Mattison of Church Street; her son Patrick Gaddis (Christy) of Honea Path; her stepdaughter Michelle Bell (Ansel) of Honea Path; her brother Charles Magaha (Miriam) of Buckstand; her grandchildren, Dalton Ashley (Emily), Landon Gaddis, Kendall Gaddis and Zoey Price; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Kate Ashley and Drayton Ashley.
