It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillie Gambrell of Honea Path, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Gambrell of Abercrombie Road; her parents, Colie McClain and Kara Brock McClain; and her siblings, Clyde McClain, Michael McClain, Gerald McClain and Joyce Sartin.

She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Diane Davenport (Perry) of Honea Path and Elaine Mills of Anderson; her siblings, Bobby McClain (Myrtice) of Honea Path, Johnny McClain (Lynn) of Abbeville, Nancy Hill (Junior) of Honea Path and Sybil Eads (Jim) of Christiansburg, VA; and her stepgrandchildren, Jason Davenport and Jamie Hawkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
