Linda Broome Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Thomas Broome; her parents, Thomas King and Hallie Johnson King; her son Thomas Wayne Broome; and her brothers, Thomas Fredrick and Samuel W. King.

She is survived by: her son Tony Lamar Broome (Melissa); her daughter-in-law Thursie Lawson Broome; her sister Phyllis Ann Lewallen (Grady); her nephew Rodney Lewallen; her grandchildren, Hallie M. Broome, Lauren Martin (Kyle) and Kayla Simmons (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Arya, Luke Martin, Maverick, Blake and Logan Simmons.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gray Mortuary Chapel (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
