She was predeceased by: her husband James Milford Bratcher of Honea Path; her parents, Furman Oscar and Eva Ashley; her daughter Renee Bell; and her siblings, Ronald Ashley, Jack Ashley, Delbert Ashley, Joe Billy Ashley, Carolyn Mitchell, Cenie Tallent, Mary Frances Bagwell, Yukie Bratcher, Thelma McGaha, Virginia Lollis and Ruby Drake.

She is survived by: her brother Winford Ashley of Honea Path; her grandchildren, Trevor Bell (Sydney) and Katelyn Heaton (Austin); her great grandchildren, Melea, Jameson, Holder, Reneé and Raylan; and her son-in-law Teddy Bell.
