He is survived by: his wife Caroline Hughes Nalley; his sons, John Michael Nalley (Leslie) of Honea Path and Jeremy Mitchell Nalley (Kelli) of Belton; his brother David Nalley (Roxanne) of Honea Path; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Zoe Nalley of Belton; his stepgrandchildren, Kendall Prieto (Andrew) of Tennessee, Marlee Griffin and Sydney Griffin of Pendleton; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aiden of Honea Path, Ivy, Hunter and Michael of Tennessee; his great-niece Estell Nalley of Honea Path; his sister-in-law Martha Evelyn Hughes of Honea Path; and his niece Larue Nalley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Austin Road Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
