He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Richardson and Nina Gaines Richardson; and his brothers, Ronnie Richardson and Mack Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Massey Richardson; his children, Regan Richardson (Michele), David Richardson (Michelle), Gladys Marroquin, Rusty Michael Richardson and Rory "Tristen" Richardson; his sisters, Patsy Jones and Linda Propes; his grandchildren, Jamie Richardson, Marly Alvarado, Cody Richardson, Sierra McKinney, Talon Richardson, Aggie Richardson, Anthony Marroquin, Paislynn Richardson, Ledger Richardson, Emerson Richardson and Alaysia Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Silas Alvarado, Madigan Alvarado and Rowan McKinney.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors (333 E Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue of one's choice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
