It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Armand Morris Opitz (Hopkins, South Carolina), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 21, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jenny Irene Fischer Opitz and Frank Morris Opitz. He is survived by : his aunt Lillian Helms; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Gault; his daughters, Jane Shuler (Frank) of Columbia, SC, June Satterfield (Than) of Anderson, SC and Jennifer Dunshee (David) of Fort Scott, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Franklin Shuler, III (Gabby) of Honolulu, HI, Heather Thompson (Matt) of Reno, NV, Zachary Satterfield (Kara) of Mooresville, NC, Vivian Satterfield and Alexander Thompson; and also Ted.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, no visitation will be held.
