He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Gordon and Rena Lee Cowart; and his siblings, Charles Gordon Cowart, Brenda Gail Stevens and Linda Renee Cowart.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Hogue Cowart; his sons, Brian Wayne Cowart (Lisa), Shawn Michael Cowart (Danielle) and Travis Lee Cowart (Stephanie); his grandchildren, David Wilson Cowart, Taylor Maureen Cowart, Elijah James Cowart and June Marie Cowart; and his siblings, Arthur Lee Cowart (Regina) and Diane C. Parker (David).
