He was predeceased by: his father Edward S. Whitlock Sr.; his siblings, Anne W. Googe and David G. Whitlock; and his stepfather John McNaughton. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Ward Whitlock; and his brother Edward "Eddie" Whitlock, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
