We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2023, at the age of 62, Billy Joe Abernathy of Inman, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Billy James Abernathy; and his brother Jerry Abernathy. He is survived by : his mother Betty Jane Abernathy (Lee); his wife Regina Abernathy (Bradley); his children, Amanda Abernathy and Phillip Abernathy (Jennifer); his brother James Abernathy (Shirlene); his grandchildren, Madison Abernathy (Miguel), Hudson Abernathy and Khloe Abernathy; and his great grandchild Omaira Faison.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
