He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Beatrice Hamel Pernell and James Franklin Pernell. He is survived by: his wife Mitzi Brennon; his son Shawn Pernell of Campobello; and his grandchildren, Ava Brennon, Noah Pernell, Mira Pernell and Amelia Pernell.
