He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy "Dot" Hood (Gault) and Alfred Hood; his wife Diane Lynn Hood; and his daughter Ashley Hood. He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Hood, James Todd Hood and Paul Stewart DeWitt Hood (Bonnie Wheeler Hood); and his grandchildren, Noah Lewis, Aiden Hood and Isaiah Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home (26 E Main St, Inman, SC 29349).
