With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Jackson (Inman, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 77. In the vast expanse of eternity, Emma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Clayton and Beatrice Goodson Clayton. She is survived by: her sons, Hank Jackson and Ben Jackson (Ashley); her stepdaughters, Regina Hamlin (Shannon) and Rhonda Knox; and her sister-in-law Patricia Clayton Van Tone. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holly Springs Baptist Church (250 Hannon Rd, Inman, SC 29349). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
