We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2022, at the age of 75, Freda M. Spivey (Inman, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, D. B. Mahaffey and Catherine Gilbert Mahaffey; her spouse Terry Lee Spivey; and her sister Deana M. Henderson. She is survived by : her daughter Amanda Spivey Green (Bryan) of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren, Langston Lee Green of Spartanburg, SC and Rowan Elizabeth Green of Spartanburg, SC; her siblings, Rebecca Giles (Lee) of Chesnee, SC and Roger Mahaffey (Rachel) of Summerville, SC; her brother-in-law Randy Henderson of Boiling Springs, SC; and her mother-in-law Rita Collins of Charlotte, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Because of her longtime association with healthcare, the family suggests that memorials be made to The Bearden-Josey Center, c/o Spartanburg Regional Foundation, P.O. Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
