It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grady Leon Johnson of Inman, South Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Grady is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Grady's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth "Lizzie" Morris; and his brother Thomas Ray Morris. He is survived by: his daughter Robin Hollenbach (Bill); his grandson Will Hollenbach (Megan); his brother Wayne Morris (Rita); and his sisters-in-law, Dianne Morris, Judy Hughes (Mickey) and Bobbie Collins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home (26 E Main St, Inman, SC 29349). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
