She is survived by: her son Marvin Henry Poteat Sr. (Shawna); and her siblings, Helen Culbreth (Jerry Culbreth), Nancy Lockhart (Gary Lockhart) and Kenneth George (Anne). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
