He is survived by: his wife Sherry Barton Bruce; his sons, Jeremy Caleb Bruce (Jessica), Stephen Jacob Bruce (Charity) and Zachary Kent Bruce (Emily); his siblings, Wendell Kent Bruce, Jr., Daniel Bruce, Michael Bruce, David Bruce and Sandra Burns Workman; and his grandchildren, Skyhlynn, Willow, Saylor, Shepherd, Harmony, Noah, Melody, Jeremiah, Sable, Symphony, Lorelai and Liberty Bruce.
