He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Laura (Powell) and Robert Grady Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Laura Ann Bridges (Harold) and Robert Grady Smith Jr. (Wanda "Stormy" Kirby); his niece Gina Gula (Mike); his nephew Harold Andrew Bridges (Michelle); and his great-nephews, Rhett Gula, Statham Gula and Kaysen Bridges. He is also survived by three step great nieces and one step great great niece.
