Though Joann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Brown and Lucindia Davis Brown; her husband Johnny Todd; and her son Joseph Larry Jones. She is survived by: her daughters, Tonya Davis (Daniel Lynelle) of St. Mary's and Teresa Young (Fred) of Spartanburg, SC; her daughter-in-law Frieda Jones of Baxley; and her grandchildren, Dylann Jones, Leianne Meeks, Tre Lavone Young, Alexis Young, Taylor Shea and Tyler Bohannan. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many friends.
