We announce the death of Joe Powell Moon of Inman, South Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2026, at the age of 90. Joe will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Terry Moon and Mary Lois Powell Moon; his wife Evelyn Bradley Moon; his brother Bill Moon; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Bradley, Shirley Moon, Peggy Moon and Gladys Ann Bradley.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Joan Jolley (Don), Susan Moon, Jill Settle, Sherry Moon, Lindsay Driggers (David), Ricky Moon (Ruth), Scott Moon (Maryann) and Erik Bradley (Crystal); his brother Max Moon; and his sister-in-law Linda Hinson. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
