With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John McDermott of Inman, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Penelope McDermott and John McDermott; and his brother Glenn McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Tracy McDermott of Greenville, SC; his son Harrison; his daughter-in-law Sarah Kate McDermott of Savannah, GA.; his sister Betty (Warren Hollar) of Bethlehem, NC; his nephews, Stephen Hollar (Andrea) and Jacob Hollar; and his siblings-in-law, Darryl, Janice Totherow and Keith Totherow.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Jackson Baptist Church (2668 John Dodd Rd, Wellford, SC 29385). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
