He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Godfrey (Lowe) and John Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ramona Godfrey (Redd); his daughters, Rene Godfrey Harris of Inman, SC and Cheryl Denise Waldrop of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Jordan Harris of Oklahoma, Dylan Harris of Inman, Kaleb Harris of Inman, Emily Gosnell of Greer, Lindsey Gosnell of Spartanburg and Sarah Oliver of Spartanburg; his great grandchildren, Aidyn Hurlburt of Inman, Janey Harris of Oklahoma, Milly Harris of Oklahoma, Logan Harris of Chesnee and Harper Harris of Inman; and his stepsons, Billy and Barry Norris.
