She was predeceased by: her parents, Maddie Sue Edwards McEntire and George McEntire; her husband Clyde B. "Pete" Gibson; and her children, Ronnie Lee Metcalf, Jr., Benjamin Gibson and Sonya Gibson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Bennett (Gerald) of Boiling Springs and Misty Gibson of Boiling Springs; and her sisters, Gena Moss of Boiling Springs and Marian Sue Sinclair Rosier of Augusta, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
