She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Elizabeth Godfrey (Finch) and Jesse Godfrey; her husband James Griffett, Jr.; and her siblings, Janice Hazlett, Dorothy Owens and Robert Godfrey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa C. Clayton (Ronnie) of Inman, SC and Barbara G. Reid (Charles) of Moore, SC; her granddaughters, Jennifer Wylie (Chris) and Jessica Mosley (Caleb); her stepgranddaughter Abby Reid; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Wylie, Samantha Wylie and Georgia Mosley.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Memorial Park (4164 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). A reception was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM.
