He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jane Collins Waters and William E "Bill" Waters; and his sister Cindy Waters. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Waters (Leigh Anne) of Inman and Michael Jarvis Waters of Tryon; his brothers, Robbie Waters (Ginger) of Inman, Mark Waters (Kelly) of Inman and Chris Waters (Cathy) of Inman; and his grandchildren, William Lucas Waters of Inman and Addyline Waters of Spartanburg.

A reception will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home (26 E Main St, Inman, SC 29349).
