It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nick Blanton of Inman, South Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nick Blanton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Blanton (Burrell) and Broadus Blanton; and his siblings, Wayne Blanton, Virginia Blanton and Kathleen Ramsey.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Blanton, Mark Blanton (Amanda) and Ashley Jackson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Madison Richardson, Carter Blanton, Hudson Blanton, Cooper Blanton, Brantley Jackson, Ellie Jackson and Colton Jackson; his siblings, Walden Blanton (Janice), Wilford Blanton (Ann), Junior Blanton (Chris), Betty Jo Wood, Ann Cargile and Carolyn Emory (Mike); and his close friend Sharon Parham.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. James United Methodist Church (213 N Lanford Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29301).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. James United Methodist Church.
