She was predeceased by: her parents, Dairoah Beason and Mazie Kelly Beason; and her siblings, Franklin Beason, Shirley Ann Beason and Etrulia Beason.
She is survived by: her children, James Earl Jones Jr. of Anderson, SC., Cynthia Gilmore of Moore, SC. and Sherry Elaine Alexander (Dexter) of Atlanta, GA.; and her sisters, Drucilla Ann Jasper (Matthew) of Greer, SC. and Laura Ruth Gentry of Spartanburg, SC.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great- grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
