He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris West (Chapman) and Raymond Lee West. He is survived by: his wife Brenda West (Foster); his children, Michelle West of Inman, SC and Danny West (Tina) of Inman, SC; his siblings, Judy Gray of Campobello, SC, Linda West of Liberty, SC, Boyd West of Boiling Springs, SC and Russell West of Boiling Springs, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua West (Breanna), Tyler West (Olivia) and Lindsey Coggins (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Adelaide West, Josiah West and Jackson Coggins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Bowen Baptist Church Building Fund, 404 Sugar Ridge Road, Inman, SC 29349.
