He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morton Bowling, Jr. and Miriam Wrightson Bowling; his son Donald Bowling; and his siblings, James Bowling, William Bowling, David Bowling and Mary Ann Chandler.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Bowling of Chandler, AZ and Emily Bowling of Chula Vista, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
