Shirley left this world on June 6, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolyn Ella (Foster) and Grady Leland Hembree; and also, Allen Poteat and Ken Foster. She is survived by: her daughter Brandi Simmons (Ed); her granddaughter Elizabeth Simmons; her sister Vicki Steadman (Joe); her nephew Patrick Steadman (Veronica); her niece Jessica Rustin (Brad); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Caroline Rustin, Victoria Steadman, Preston, Austin and Caleb Steadman; and her pet Sophie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel (26 E Main St, Inman, SC 29349). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
