We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 87, Shirley Naomi Pennington of Inman, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Donald Lee Pennington; her parents, William "Bill" Johnson and Bertha Johnson; her sons, Henry "Nick", Darryl Keith Fortenberry and William Douglas Fortenberry; and her siblings, Dennis Johnson (Dorothy Johnson), Joyce Ellis and Sandra Robbins.

She is survived by : her daughter Robin Robbins of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Kevin D. Fortenberry, Teresa Robbins Zavala, Liza A Fortenberry, April Watson (Andrew) and Heather Grace; her great grandchildren, Deziree Grace, Destiny Robbins, Hunter Watson and Kassidi Zavala; her grandson Mike Melton; and her daughter-in-law Laura Ann Stafford.
