He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Creighton and Audrey June Stewart Rector; and his sisters, Gail Cox and Sharon Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cochrum Rector; his son Scott Rector of Lyman; and his siblings, Dan Rector of Greer, Joan Carlisle (David) of Lyman and Mary Ann Woodard (Wendell) of Inman.
