With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Jerry Meetze (Irmo, South Carolina), who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Heber and Mary Dooley Meetze; his siblings, Johnny Franklin Meetze and Betty Meetze Barrett; and his nephew Phillip Wayne Barrett.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Monts Meetze; his daughter Kim Allnutt (Tommy); his grandson Connor Reagan Allnutt; and his siblings, Joeanne Barrett (Johnny) and Harold Meetze (Kathryn).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
