It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lars Larsen Sr. (Irmo, South Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Larsen and Alma Bishop Larsen; his wife Merlyne "Mert" Thornton Larsen; his daughter-in-law Sharon Renee Baker Larsen; and his great grandchild Kage Archer Larsen.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Lars Larsen, Jr. (Jamie) and James Karl Larsen; his grandchildren, Karl (Heather), Kevin (Kristin), Jessica Mitchum (Chase), Kyle (Courtney) and Justin (Maggie); and his great grandchildren, June Mitchum and Rheese Larsen.
