It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joe Brandon (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Cramerton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Featherston Brandon and Ray Brandon; and his brother Max Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brandon; his children, Janet Brandon Clark, J. M. Clark, Jr. (Corky) and Donald Joe Brandon, Jr.; his granddaughter Betsey Clark Ruff (Russell T. Ruff); his great grandchildren, Cooper Clark Ruff and Davis Elihu Ruff; and his brother Dr. Daniel R. Brandon (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
