We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2022, at the age of 66, Douglas Eugene Adams (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Scott Adams and Margaret Cook Adams; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his grandson Jaden; his nephew Michael; his wife Janie Spurgeon Adams; his daughters, Maggie Tucker (Bryan) and Katie Adams; his grandchildren, Jack and Charlotte Tucker; his siblings, Wendell Adams, Connie Rayfield, Robert Adams (Rhonda), Marcia Ruff (Harold) and Diane Hall; his siblings-in-law, John and Nancy Spurgeon; and his brothers, Cy Rush, Gene Williams, Coach Steve Wilson, James Odom, Jason Hill, Wally Anderson, Lewis Bishop, Jim Edenfield and Jim Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
