He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Rodgers and Carrie Edwards Rodgers; and his brothers, Robert Rodgers (JoAnn Calk Rodgers) and Don Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hurt Rodgers; his children, Melonie Rodgers Vincent (Perry) of Irmo and Joel D. Rodgers (Crystal) of Leesville; his grandchildren, Hannah Vincent Boe (Alex) of Lexington, Brittney N. Rodgers of Lexington and Grant R. Vincent of Colorado; his great grandchild Wyatt A. Boe of Lexington; and his sister Sandra Rodgers Rikard of Ward.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 1:30 PM. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063).
