He is survived by: his wife Omega Powell (Pollard); his daughter Patricia Powell; his grandchildren, Lionel, Lance, Lydia and Leah; his daughter Evelyn Powell; his grandchild Dimitrus; his daughter Barbra Powell; his grandchildren, Shakeema, Shania, Shakeya, Shakyla, Trina Powell, Takeria, Trinece, Trinity, Makeeta Powell, Lamor, Tichina, Trinasia and Lavonte; and his siblings, Calvin Powell, Evelyn Powell, Lynette Powell, Marvin Powell and Carolyn Hinkley. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063).
