With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Joan Williams Brown (Irmo, South Carolina), who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Marion Edward Williams; her husband Lamar Porcher Brown; and her brother Marion Durant Williams. She is survived by: her mother Ellen Gantt Williams; her family Joan; her brother Ray Williams (Gale); her daughters, Ellen Henderson (Mike) and Barbara Wagers (Woody); her grandchildren, Christina Sitter, Dr. James Sitter (Kimberly), William Wagers, Dr. Charles Wagers (Anamaria) and Anna Catherine Moody (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Liam Sitter, Emily Sitter and Noah Moody. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boyce Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the First Baptist Church TV Ministry, 1306 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
