With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erin Alice Nelson (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Rochester, Michigan, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandmother Esther Richards. She is survived by: her parents, Carter Wallace and Beth Richards Wallace; her son Sheldon; the parent of her child Sidney of Irmo; and her grandfather Stanley Richards of Beaufort. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter or a charity of one's choice.
