With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary L. Dobson (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on August 10, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Pierce Whatley; and his siblings, Mark Dobson (Dru), Nancy Shivers, Kay Dobson and Patsy.
He is survived by: his brother Rick Lowery (Jenny); his wife Patsy Dobson; and his children, Laurie Sanders, Patrick Richie (Jelynn), Brian Richie (Betsy), Natalie Szuba (Patrick) and Taylor Holm (Jeffrey). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many cherished family members and friends.
