With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary James Heady (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry and Elizabeth Heady; his wife Patricia "Pattie" Moseley Heady; his children, Gary James Heady Jr., Caroline Lewter (Woody) and Taylor Dowling (Curtis); his grandchildren, Elliot Reeves, Harper Reeves, Devin Lewter, London Lewter, Badger Lewter, Sadie James Dowling, Wyatt Dowling and Sloane Dowling; his sister Brenda Dean (Paul); and his brother-in-law Larry Moseley (Jerri). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
