She was predeceased by : her parents, Anna Mae Marshall Henderson and Wallace Henderson; her husband Dick; her siblings, Mary, Richard, Jack, Helen, Frieda and Wally Ann; her daughter Michelle Samson Latronica; and her son-in-law Jimmy Latronica.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Lee Samson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Suzanne Marie Samson, Brian Richard Samson and John Michael Samson of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Sharon Nicole Marin, Daniel Leonard Smith (Leslie) of Bluffton, SC, Elizabeth Anna Cheaney, Kacie Lauren Samson of Columbia, SC, Nicholas Brian Samson (Danielle) of Columbia, SC and Scott Richard Samson of Charlotte, NC.; and also David Arnold.
