He was predeceased by: his daughter Jamey Elizabeth Collins; his parents, Edward Collins and Margaret Collins; his sister Betsy Rabush (Richard); his in-laws, Henry and Edith Cone; and his sister-in-law Donna Cone Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Collins; his nephew Scott Rabush (Lizzie); his sister-in-law Sharilyn Setterlund (Chuck); his nephew-in-law Allen Welch (Jennifer); his niece-in-law Lauren Davis; and his extended family, Linda Eckstrom (Jim) and Harold Cone.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapin Christian Community Church (415 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
