He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Hanson and Lydia Hanson; his former wife Jewel Hanson; and his sisters, Jo Ellen Kolander and Janice Robertson.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Hanson; his daughters, Jo Ann Meeker (Rick) and Jody Peek (Grover); his grandchildren, Michele (Keith), Rick (Lauren), Jackie (Brendon) and Craig (Sierra); and his great grandchildren, Ben, Breigh, Dylan and Elijah.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Jim's memory to All Seasons Hospice or the charity of your choice.
