She was predeceased by: her parents, Downey Booth and Ruby Booth of Durham, NC; her brother Judd Booth; her siblings-in-law, Theda Booth, Edwyn and Cecil Whitehead; and her niece Mary Rebecca Whitehead.
She is survived by: her husband Lyman Whitehead; her children, Amy Jo Jacobson (Tim), Jeff (Beth), Sam (Melinda) and Chris (Carolyn Whitehead); her grandchildren, Ash Jacobson, Carly, Paige Ashworth, Aaron (Amanda) and Shae (Jason Elves); and her great grandchildren, Rosie and Jasper Elves. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
