Joyce Hamilton Obituary
We announce the death of Joyce Hamilton of Irmo, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 84. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Miller and Alice Miller (Masters); and her sister Jacqueline James. She is survived by: her husband Donald Hamilton; her children, Christine Mayes (Peter) of Sugar Land, TX and Charles Hamilton (Cheri) of Summerville, SC.; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Libby" Hamilton, Elodie Hamilton, Benjamin Hamilton and Casey Mayes (Kiersten).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Community Church (4301 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
