She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Patterson Padgett and Majorie Gray Padgett; her husband James B. Hughes; and her brother Raymond Patterson Padgett, Sr. (Shirley). She is survived by: her children, Sabrina Barr (John), Darra Irish (Skip) and Gregory Hughes (Stefanie); her grandchildren, Morgan Barr (Caroline), Austin Irish (Ashley Marler), Emily Irish Brock (Thompson), Thomas Barr (Audrey), Rebecca Grace Barr, Kate Hughes and Davis Hughes; her great grandchildren, Charles, James Brock, Margaret and Elizabeth Barr; her sister Casandra Padgett Parton (Carl); and her sister-in-law Annette Hughes Kirby. She is also survived by many nephews and a niece.
